Avanca International has been awarded with a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award and is now officially the second fastest growing technology company in The Netherlands, behind CataWiki. Avanca, which was founded in 2008 by Tim Haaksma may also call itself the fastest growing company in the category “Hardware”.
The prize has been awarded at the annual Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ceremony, which this year took place in Groningen. Tim and (part of) his team got on stage to receive the award. “This is amazing”, said Amrish Badal, the first employee ever to join the Avanca-team in 2010.
“I started this company 7 years ago”, explained Tim in his interview on stage. “We’ve moved offices 5 times since that moment. We are now talking with Silicon Valley to bring very advanced technologies to the market”.
